Dave and Jill's Wedding Cupcakes!

Jill and Dave's Wright House Wedding  was nothing short of beautiful! I was so glad to create the cupcake display which included Chocolate and Peanut Butter, Red Velvet and Banana Cream Pie Cupcakes. Congratulations Jill and Dave and all my best wishes for a blessed marriage!

Pretty Paisleys- Baby Shower Cake

When Gina called me to order a cake for her niece's baby shower, and I started to ask her about her design ideas, she said a few magic words I love to hear- "do whatever you'd like with the design!" Considering I spend a good deal of time watching cake shows like "The Cake Boss" and scouring Pinterest for design ideas, I was super excited to do a technique I learned which looks like embroidering. I loved this idea so much, I kept it simple and covered both tiers of pastel pink and green (the colors of the shower) with white embroidered paisleys and flowers. Thanks Cake Boss, I think I'll be doing this a lot. Simple and classic. And congrats to Gina's neice, the mom-to-be! My best wishes on the journey ahead!

A couple Fridays ago, I was blessed enough to see one of my dear friends Keira marry the love of her life, Jon! I was also honored to make the cake pops and cupcakes for her Wedding dessert table!

Keira's outdoor, shabby chic, vintage wedding included all the ingredients of a fairy tale. Perfect sunset and weather included (thankfully for all the chocolate and red velvet, wrapped up in a chocolate shell on a lollipop stick). In addition to cake pops, Keira wanted to do a mini groom's cake and cupcakes made of her and Jon's favorite flavor- funfetti! Not just for birthday parties people. Instead of "cutting the cake", they fed each other the decorated bride and groom cake pops (as seen in top picture). What a romantic and love-filled wedding. So honored to be a part of it! Love you KK & JK!
