I recently received an order from a client requesting a cake for her husband. She was laughing as she said she wanted a cake for her husband's birthday with big goofy glasses on top. I made the cake, all the while wondering what the significance was behind the glasses. As I dropped off the cake, I told her I'd love to tell the story behind it on the blog...I loved the answer her daughter gave, the glasses are because well, "he's getting old!"
